In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional expectations, the game developer has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A mysterious meeting draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where rumors of forbidden practices and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who charges the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a hidden cult.

The questline centers on "strange tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Locations and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic sequence showing a character, likely the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
